How to manage the user notifications?

Written by Kavya

Payroo now gives you more control over who receives payroll notifications.

The Notifications tab is available under Settings > Users & Access, allowing administrators to view and manage notification recipients for different features.

By default, all eligible users are assigned to receive notifications.

Administrators can customise these settings at any time based on their organisation's requirements.

How to manage notification recipients?

  1. Go to Settings.

  2. Select Users & Access.

  3. Select the Notifications tab.

You will see the available features, along with the users currently assigned to each feature.

This may include:

  • Payments

  • Pay runs

  • Super batches

  • Leave requests

  • Timesheet requests

  • Expense claims

Customise who receives a notification

  1. Find the notification type you want to manage.

  2. Select Customise.

  3. A list of eligible users will be displayed.

  4. Select or deselect users depending on who should receive that notification.

  5. Select Update to save your changes.

You can customise each notification type separately.

For example, you may choose to have only your payroll administrator receive Pay Run notifications, while a different group receives Payment notifications.

Note

Notification recipients are managed independently for each notification type. Changing the recipients for one notification will not change the recipients for other notification types.

By default, all eligible users receive notifications. Administrators can update the recipients at any time to ensure notifications are sent only to the appropriate users.
